Mount Madonna

Mount Madonna Center is located in the Santa Cruz mountains midway between Watsonville and Gilroy, atop Mount Madonna with a spectacular view of Monterey Bay.

The quiet, natural beauty of Mount Madonna Center provides an ideal setting for seminars. The 355 acres of open meadow and redwood forest lands is laced with a network of walking trails encourage creative interaction, exploration and deep reflection, fostering renewed leadership and action.

The Center offers a pond for swimming, a hot tub, tennis courts, a gymnasium for volleyball and basketball, and massage and herbal steambath facilities.

Mount Madonna Center was chosen specifically for its inspirational setting and forms an integral part of the seminar experience. Lodging at Mount Madonnaincludes the main conference center and retreat cabins in a lovely grove of oak trees that are a 12-minute walk from the center. Also available are tent camping or staying in your own van on-site.

For people choosing to live on-site during the seminar, accommodations are simple and beautiful. Rooms are assigned on a first come, first served basis. When you register you will be asked to choose from one of the following 4 options (Places are limited in each of these categories):

For over 30 years, Mount Madonnahas been actively bringing people together to create dialogue, depth, greater clarity of vision and emergent ways of thinking and being in the world. The facilities are designed for professional and personal renewal and inspiration. Both land and facilities reflect and radiate an ambiance of integrity, comfort and well-being.

Oaks Cabin

The Conference Center has 33 bedrooms (single - double and triple, some with private baths). This is where the seminar will take place, the Conference Center has courtyard and great views of the Bay.

The Cabins are in a lovely grove of oak trees and have electricity and heat, but no plumbing. A separate restroom with flush toilets and private shower rooms is nearby. The cabins are a 12-minute walk up the hill above the lake.

For those wishing to camp during the seminar, a developed campsite will accommodate you with both sunny and shady locations. Showers and restrooms are provided in campgrounds and Centers buildings. A tent can be provided for $8/day, please do let us know if you will require a tent.

Meals

All meals will be catered on-site. You will be served three meals a day — All meals are strictly vegetarian and made of with the highest quality, delicious, fresh, lovingly prepared and presented foods (cost: $50/day).

Food at Mount Madonna Center is a community experience that celebrates the culinary pleasures of food in an atmosphere sure to facilitate wonderful conversation. The delicious, healthy meals form a memorable part of the Mount Madonna Center experience. All meals are served buffet style in the dining room. Unique needs and dietary preferences can be accommodated. Resident staff are students of yoga who take pride in their friendly, efficient, helpful service. The atmosphere is peaceful and the setting beautiful, from the magnificent vista of the bay to the surrounding redwood hillsides to the craftsmanship and style of the buildings themselves.
